What's the difference between OEM, Compatible, and Remanufactured
Cartridges?
OEM Cartridges: OEM is an abbreviation for
Original Equipment Manufacturer. These manufacturers produce
the replacement ink for copiers or printers and normally will
put the manufacturer's name on the product, such as Canon,
IBM, Sharp, Lexmark, Brother, Epson, etc.
Compatible Cartridges: Generic cartridges
are specially manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications
and high standards of quality and reliability. Generic cartridges
offer high-quality printing results. Manufactured 100% new,
containing only new components, they are an economical alternative
to expensive name-brand cartridges and supplies. Generic cartridges
provide big savings over brand-name cartridges and supplies.
Remanufactured Cartridges: Remanufactured cartridges
have been recycled to meet or exceed OEM (Original Equipment
Manufacturer) specifications. The recycling and reprocessing
process involves disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, replacing
worn parts, reassembling, and filling the cartridge with ink.
Once the remanufacturing process is complete, the cartridge
is then print tested, sealed, and packaged for sale.
Refilled Cartridges: Refill service is where send
in your cartridges to be refilled. The cartridges are your
property and we only perform the service of cleaning, refilling
and testing to make sure they are printing properly. This
service is only for cartridges that have the print head on
the cartridge such as HP, Lexmark, Dell and some Cannon.
Will using Compatible/Remanufactured cartridges
void the warranty of my printer?
Will using Compatible or Remanufactured cartridges void the
warranty of my printer?
No, the use of Compatible or Remanufactured replacement cartridges
will not void your printer’s warranty. which is proven
by the following US Congress Legislation:
MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY IMPROVEMENT ACT
United States Code Annotated
Title 15 Commerce and Trade
Chapter 50 Consumer Product Warranties
15 Section 2302
“(c) No warrantor of a consumer product may condition
his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumer's
using, in connection with such product, any article or service
(other than article or service provided without charge under
the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade
or corporate name; except that the prohibition of this subsection
be waived by the commission if:
1) The warrantor satisfies the Commission that the warranted
product will function properly only if the article or service
so identified is used in connection with the warranted product,
and 2) The Commission finds that such a waiver is in the public
interest.”
Under no circumstances can any company or associate, salesperson
or service technician deny you service or warranty work that
would otherwise be covered under the warranty program.
Are your products money-back guaranteed?
Yes, we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
How can I tell what cartridges to buy for my printer?

cartridge number. We will send you the correct cartridges.
If in doubt, just call 916.481.3479
Refill Service. There are nearly 100 cartridge
styles. Which ones can we refill?
There are over 500 printing devices which use ink jet cartridges,
including printers, plotters, fax machines, multi-function
machines and other special equipment. However, there are far
fewer cartridge styles since many printer models use the same
cartridge styles. Refilling service is offered for all popular
cartridges. (Do not mistake tanks like used by Epson, Brother
and some Canon. We supply new compatible tanks at much lower
price then refilling).
Not all cartridges can be refilled. Unserviceable rates vary
widely by cartridge style and condition. Single black and
color virgin cartridges having the highest success rates.
On the average, 90-95% of all virgin single black and color
cartridges can be refilled. As the cartridges age, this percentage
gets lower. Cartridges with the highest “unserviceable”
rates include most tri-chamber color cartridges. An example
of this is the HP51649A cartridge. Certain “sponge-style”
cartridges such as the Canon BC-02 and BC-05 also have higher
“unserviceable rates” than liquid ink cartridges
as the HP51626A. If concerned give us a call, 916.481.3479.
How long will it take to refill my inkjet cartridges?
Target turnaround time for refill service is 24 hours maximum
from date of receipt. Many common cartridges will be returned
the same day as received.
Does the use of refilled ink jet cartridges void
the warranty of my printer?
In a Warranty Statement dated December 1993, Hewlett-Packard
clarifies its position on warranties. “For HP products,
the use of non-HP cartridges or refilled print cartridges
does not affect either the warranty to the customer or any
HP support contract with the customer.”
How long does it take when a new cartridge hits the market
before it can be refilled?
There are dozens of new ink jet printing devices being manufactured
and sold today. Many of these new models have cartridge styles
that are also new to the market. New cartridge styles usually
mean the development of new inks. It takes 3-6 months after
a new cartridge hits the market to develop and test inks for
new styles.
How many pages will my refilled cartridge print?
The amount of ink in a cartridge along with other printing
factors determines how many pages a cartridge will print.
Each OEM (original equipment manufacturer) cartridge comes
with a specific amount of ink when new – the same amount
of ink or more is used in a refilled cartridge. All cartridges
are carefully weighed to be sure they meet these weight specifications.

Return
of Refilled Cartridges General Information

What is the warranty on your Refill Service?
Cartridges that are refilled are your property. If they develop
problems you must contact our support department. The only
warranty on refilled cartridges is the cost of the ink and
service in refilling. Cartridges, which are tampered with
after receipt, cannot be returned.
In most cases our support department will help you get the
cartridge working. If the cartridge is defective we will normally
not want the cartridge returned. You will be credited for
the refill service according to Warranty information.
